“Over the Top” Original Oil Painting

“Over the Top” is an original oil painting. This peony composition was painted from the gardens at Hildene, the Lincoln Family Home in Manchester, Vermont.

This painting features the “Jessie Lincoln” peony in the forground, a cultivar specific to Hildene. This peony was named after Abraham Lincoln’s granddaughter who was also the designer of the formal garden at Hildene. It is recognized by the American Peony Society.
